To celebrate the launch of the new series of Meerkat Manor Series 3, Animal Planet is linking up zoos and safari parks around the country and giving away some fantastic prizes. NEWQUAY ZOO
Newquay Zoo has 4 male Meerkats who are now in retirement and enjoy themselves sunbathing and keeping a check on some of the other inhabitants of their mixed enclosure which includes zebra, antelope and porcupine. They may be the smallest animals in their but they are certainly in charge and very entertaining to watch. Newquay Zoo is set amongst sub-tropical lakeside gardens with hundreds of animals from African Lions, Tapirs and Siberian Lynx to Pygmy Marmosets and Arrow Poison frogs. Voted Visitor Attraction of the Year 2006 at the Cornwall Tourism Awards. Enter the Meerkat Manor competition at Newquay Zoo this September.

BLAIR DRUMMOND SAFARI AND ADVENTURE PARK
Blair Drummond Safari and Adventure Park is situated near Stirling in Central Scotland. The drive through the park takes you close to lions, rhinos, giraffes and elephants. There are boat trips to see our chimps on their island, sea lion displays and birds of prey shows. They also have an adventure playground with pirate ship, pedal boats, a giant astraglide and catering outlets. At Blair Drummond they have our very own Meerkat Manor and if you visit the enclosure in September you will see lots of posters referring to a competition where you can win goody bags and a Meerkat Gold Adoption Pack.

PAIGNTON ZOO
To celebrate the launch of the new series of Meerkat Manor Series 3, Animal Planet is linking up with Paignton Zoo. Paignton Zoo is home to thousands of amazing animals and plants. Visit the desert, cross the savannah, explore the forest and trek through the tropics. Use your senses to discover the wild world: look around, listen out - you’ll even need your sense of smell! It’s a great day out for everyone.
