In April this year, Animal Planet International invited potential wildlife film-makers from around the world to audition for a part in Unearthed 2, an intensive wildlife filmmaking course with experts Andrew Baron and Lyndal Davies.
Over the last couple of months, we have been overwhelmed by the number of entries received and the quality of short films submitted.
Four Lucky people from as far a field as India and New Zealand have now been chosen and will be flying out to Shamwari, in South Africa in July to begin the course. Animal Planet would like to extend our congratulations to those four students.
We would also like to extend our thanks to all those who submitted entries but who were not successful this year. Whilst we would like to reply to everybody individually, the huge response means that we are unable. However we would like to encourage all applicants still determined to succeed to re submit entries for next year’s course.
Unearthed 2 will be televised on Animal Planet International in 2008.
