interactive mapadvanced base camp
Climbers experience many different types of uneven terrain during their climb. The terrain includes large rocks, snow, and ice, shear rock faces, glacial ice, hard packed snow and large crevasses. Advanced Base Camp sits at about 21,300 feet / 6,500 metres which is just below the North Col where various camps are scattered along the rocky terrain. |
