Better Suited For Space

Astronauts of the future will need new (and cool) space suits, and NASA's got them covered.

In June 2008, the space agency gave Oceaneering International Inc. a $745million contract to build the devices.
Two suits are in the works for space travellers going to the moon and beyond.

Suit 1 - the orange number will be worn in and around the spacecraft during the launch and landing, and any space walks outside the ship.

Suit 2 - the white getup is strictly for exploring the lunar surface. It's got an excellent (but heavy) life support backpack.
