‘that shark, he looks right into you... he's got...lifeless eyes, black eyes, like a doll's eye. When he comes at ya, doesn't seem to be livin'. Until he bites ya and those black eyes roll over white. And then, ah then you hear that terrible high-pitch screamin' and the ocean turns red and in spite of all the poundin' and the hollerin' they all come in and rip you to pieces.’
Captain Quint telling the tale about the USS Indianapolis has become one of the most memorable scenes from Jaws. And now, for the first time, the true story of the worst shark attack ever is explored. This one-off drama documentary Worst Shark Attack Ever: Ocean of Fear tells the story of the 900 men who were left floating in shark-infested waters with no lifeboats, food or water, after torpedoes sunk their warship during World War II.
