Hong Kong’s OOCL Shenzhen is one of the world's largest container ships.
The propeller of the OOCL Shenzhen alone weighs 85 tonnes and with 93,000 horsepower, her engine is 1000 times more powerful than the average family car, with an engine size equivalent to 24,000 litres.
The ship was launched in 2003 and measures over 320 metres in length but, despite her colossal size, the OOCL Shenzhen is operated by a crew of only 19. The ship is controlled almost entirely by computer and currently serves routes between Asia and Europe.
