The so-called ‘July Plot’, led by Claus von Stauffenberg came within a whisker of assassinating Hitler. Finally, the German military had become appalled by the brutality shown not just against the enemy, but toward the German people themselves.

Virtual History was groundbreaking in its attempts to depict events with painstaking accuracy. Cutting-edge CGI was used in a completely new way: Archive was ‘recreated’ to show characters from the events as if they had been filmed on the day itself. Virtual History pushed forward, once again, the possibilities of film-making.
