We're taking viewers on an aquatic journey into the depths of the unknown with the world’s leading experts on Humboldt Squid.
Marine poaching ranger, world class diver and underwater cameraman Scott Cassell has been studying and filming Humboldt Squid in Baja, Mexico for the past 13 years, and has recently revealed ground-breaking research on both the Humboldt Squid and also an unknown species of the colossal Giant Squid.
Revealing recent confidential work carried out by Scott, this documentary takes viewers closer than ever before into the life of the squid, showing the different behaviours which have previously never been caught on camera.
This marine special is an introduction into the alarming ascendance of these unforgiving ocean predators, a glance beneath the surface at a brand new species of squid, and a chance to get up-close and personal with enigmatic underwater explorer Scott Cassell.
