Join filmmaker and naturalist Les Stroud as he tries to survive in a series of remote wilderness locations armed with little more than the clothes on his back.
Equipped with just his rugged determination, intuition and camera equipment, Les documents his seven day journey of survival. Bringing the wilderness to life, he struggles to overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles, whilst exploring the amazing and beautiful natural world around him.
In the first episode Les spends a gruelling week in one of the densest, deepest parts of the Amazon jungle. He is taken deep into the rainforest in a dug out canoe and left there with no food or water, just a few survival items including a bit of fishing line, a match and his trusty multi-tool.
If that sounds tough, Les will also be hauling 50lbs of camera equipment on which he’ll record every excruciating moment of his jungle odyssey. Good luck Les!
